Protecting Your Privacy

  • SAIL is bound by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, as amended (HIPAA) and New York State laws to ensure your health information is protected. Your Protected Health Information (PHI) may includes test results, medical histories, assessments, etc.

  • Every individual we serve receives a Notice of Privacy Practices, and all staff complete annual privacy training.

  • SAIL safeguards your electronic PHI data using encryption, secure servers, backups, and password protection.
